Acknowledgements - Private Party to Private Party 1. Transfer Fee(Required) The fee for a Private Party to Private Party Transfer is $65, paid when the Form 4473 is submitted, non-refundable.
2. Valid Identification(Required) Both parties must have valid government-issued photo ID with a current address.
3. Presence Required(Required) Both transferor and transferee must be present to start the transfer process.
4. Possession Until Approval(Required) Once the Form 4473 is submitted, G4 will retain possession of the firearm(s) until the transferee receives an approval.
5. Processing & Gun Check(Required) Before we start the transfer process, we will conduct a “Gun Check” with local law enforcement. If the Gun Check is not approved, the firearm(s) will be surrendered to local law enforcement.
6. Background Check Form 4473(Required) The fee for a Form 4473 is $10, paid by the transferee when the Form 4473 is submitted, non-refundable.
7. Child Safety Lock Act of 2005(Required) The Child Safety Lock Act of 2005 states we are required to provide a secure gun storage or safety device with all handguns transferred at our facility. If you are transfering a handgun, and neither of these devices were provided, we will provide you with a child safety lock for an additional fee.
8. Denied or Cancelled Form 4473(Required) If the transferee receives a “denied” or “canceled” response on their Form 4473, we will contact the original transferor to coordinate and pay for returning the firearm(s). The transferor must submit a Form 4473 to regain possession (fees apply).
9. 90 Day Hold(Required) If we are unable to complete the transfer for any reason, we will allow the original transferor 90 days from the date we contact them to pay for and coordinate the return process. After 90 days, we will surrender the firearm(s) to local law enforcement.
10. Right to Refuse(Required) Licensed dealers (FFLs) have the right and responsibility to refuse a firearm transfer for any legitimate safety or compliance concern, such as a failed background check or suspicion of a straw purchase.
Acknowledgements - FFL to FFL 1. Transfer Fee(Required) The fee for a Firearm Transfer is $50 for each firearm, paid by the transferee when the Form 4473 is submitted, non-refundable. If we do not receive this Firearm Transfer Form prior to your firearm arriving, the Transfer Fee will be $75 for each firearm and processing times will be delayed.

Once processing is complete, we will notify you that you we're ready for you to come in to complete your Form 4473. If you have not received a notification from us, your transfer is NOT ready. Acknowledgements - NFA Transfer Transfer Fee(Required) The NFA Transfer Fee is $100 for each NFA transfer. If we do not receive this transfer form prior to your NFA item arriving, the Transfer Fee will be $150 for each NFA item and processing times will be delayed.
2. Tax Stamp & Fingerprinting(Required) To begin the NFA transfer process, I must first apply for a tax stamp with the ATF. This includes completing fingerprints and submitting a picture of yourself. We can help you with this process in our store, but there is not guaranteed wait time once it is submitted to the ATF.
3. Background Check Form 4473(Required) Once we receive your ATF approval, you are still required to complete a Form 4473, although this does not have to be submitted to local law enforcement, it is just kept on record.

If we do not receive this Private Party to FFL Firearm Transfer Form prior to your firearm arriving, the Transfer Fee will be $100 for each firearm and processing times will be delayed.
2. Shipping(Required) Firearms must be shipped UPS or FedEx, with a color copy of the transferor’s valid, government issued, photo ID, showing proof of their current address. We do not accept Private Party Transfer firearms that we don't know are coming.
3. Gun Check(Required) When we receive the firearm, we conduct a “Gun Check” with local law enforcement. The transferee will not be contacted to complete a Form 4473 until this step is complete, which can take an undetermined amount of time. If the Gun Check is not approved, the firearm will be surrendered to local law enforcement.
