Front Desk / Retail OperationsÂ

Pay Range: $18-22/hr DOE

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Hunt G4. As the first point of contact, you will welcome guests, manage lane rentals, handle retail transactions, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate excels in customer service, possesses strong cash-handling skills, and maintains sharp attention to detail for compliance and inventory tasks.
- Customer Experience: Welcome guests, answer inquiries, and provide expert frontline customer service.
- Range Operations: Safely check in shooters and set up customers on our range.
- Safety Compliance: Execute mandatory customer background checks with absolute accuracy and integrity.
- Cash Management: Operate the point-of-sale system, processing retail and range transactions efficiently.
- Daily Retail Operations: Opening and closing the facility while keeping the front desk and storefront displays clean and organized.
- Retail Experience: Demonstrated success in retail sales, cash handling, or hospitality roles.
- Outdoor Passion: Passion for the outdoors, hunting, firearms, or archery is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail necessary for executing legal compliance and background checks.
- Multitasking Ability: Proven ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with a welcoming, customer-first attitude.
- Basic Math Skills: Strong ability to calculate change, count inventory, and verify till balances.
- Computer Skills: Comfortable using computers, checkout systems (POS), email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Archery Instructor
Location: North Plains, OR
Job Type: Independent Contractor, Part-time (Flexible hours based on scheduled lessons and range demand)
Pay Range: Commission-based ($20+hr equivalent) | Instructors earn 60% of all lesson fees.
Experience Level: Skilled archer knowledgeable in compound and traditional bows. Must be able to demonstrate form, basic gear troubleshooting, and coach everyone from beginners to seasoned hunters.
Job Description: As an Archery Instructor at Hunt G4, you’ll be the heartbeat of our indoor range. We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in archery who is ready to step into a coaching role. You’ll work with everyone from kids and beginners learning the ropes to experienced hunters sharpening their skills for the season. Your goal is to provide clear, helpful instruction on form and safety, ensuring every archer—no matter their level—leaves more confident than when they walked in.
- Adaptable Instruction: Tailor one-hour private lessons to the student's specific level—from simple coordination drills for children to advanced technical tuning for backcountry hunters.
- Safety Leadership: Ensure shooters of all ages understand and respect range etiquette and equipment safety.
- Progress Tracking: Help students set milestones, whether they are preparing for their first youth tournament or an upcoming trophy hunt.
- Experience: Proven background in archery (hunting, target, or competitive). Prior teaching or coaching experience is highly preferred.
- Certification: Ability to obtain or hold a USA Archery Level 1 or 2 Instructor Certification.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coach both children and adults in a "member-ready" professional environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of compound and traditional archery gear, including arrows, broadheads, and optics.
- Enjoyment in Teaching Youth:Must genuinely like working with younger archers and have the patience to make learning fun and safe for them.
